Overview
Knowledge workers were drowning in repetitive internal queries, unstructured meeting notes, and fragmented team context — spending hours each week on work that should take minutes. ekai is a personalized AI-powered assistant that learns from your team's collective knowledge to summarize meetings, answer repetitive queries, and surface the right context at the right time. The result is less time on busywork and more time on high-value work that actually moves the needle.
The Challenge
Knowledge workers spend up to 40% of their time searching for information they already have — scattered across Slack, Notion, email, and meeting notes.
Teams grow fast. Knowledge gets siloed. New teammates spend their first weeks asking questions that someone else already answered six months ago. Senior contributors get pulled into the same recurring queries again and again, fragmenting their focus and slowing the whole team down.
The Opportunity
What if the answers already existed — they just needed to be surfaced automatically?
ekai sits on top of your team's existing tools and surfaces answers before someone has to ask. By learning from past conversations, documents, and meeting recordings, it builds a shared knowledge layer that gets smarter the more it's used.
The website needed to communicate this vision clearly and compellingly — making a technically complex product feel approachable, trustworthy, and essential.
Design Approach
Clarity over cleverness: communicating AI value without the hype.
The biggest challenge in designing for an AI product is earning trust. We made a deliberate choice to ground everything in concrete use cases — real queries, real meeting summaries, real time saved — rather than leading with abstract capability claims.
Key Design Decisions
Three principles that shaped every page.
We led with product UI — real screens showing exactly what the assistant does and how it responds. Every marketing claim is immediately backed by a visual proof point.
We structured the narrative to match how trust is built: start broad (what it does), go deep (how it works), then personal (how it fits your workflow). Each section earns the next.
The site itself needed to feel fast and frictionless — a direct demonstration of the product's promise. No heavy animations, no loading friction.
Outcome
A website that converts curiosity into conviction.
The final design communicates ekai's value in under ten seconds, guides visitors naturally from awareness to action, and positions the product as both powerful and approachable — an AI tool that works with you, not around you.
